team_photo_sm-scld.jpgGrapevine, TX (08/06/2008) -- Agama Production took a crew of three to cover the Military Child Education Coalition's annual conference in Grapevine, TX.  In addition to filming standard conference b-roll, a studio interview room was created for getting testimonials from the conference's speakers and VIPs.  A mobile editing system was also brought along to allow the interviews and comments to be edited on-site and posted to a YouTube account - giving interested parties who could not attend the ability to hear what others had to say about MCEC and it's efforts to support military families.

Army Chief of Staff General George Casey was the senior Army representative and supporter of MCEC's activities at the conference and provided some one-on-one time with the camera.  Other notable persons who sat down for an interview included Jeanette Betancourt (Sesame Workshop), General (ret) Tom Schwartz, Matt Rogers (Dell, Inc.'s Marketing Senior Manager), and six military children flown in from bases in Korea.

Although the crew was only on-site for three and a half days, a total of fifty (50) individuals were captured on tape in thirty-eight (38) separate interviews.  Twenty-one (21) of the interviews were chosen for editing and, by the end of the conference, eighteen (18) separate videos had been created - sixteen (16) of them posted to YouTube.  As of August 6th (twelve days after the conference), the posted videos had achieved 872 cumulative views.
